Dr. Sungil Han is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and an affiliated faculty member in the School of Data Science at UNC Charlotte. He earned his Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Han’s research focuses on crime patterns, the relationship between immigration and crime, and the interactions between police and communities.
